A story from my childhood, Ariadne’s Thread is a classical Greek mythology where Ariadne, daughter of King Minos of Crete, helps Theseus kill the Minotaur that lives in a Labyrinth beneath the Minos’ palace. Those sent into the labyrinth were sent as sacrifices, and all eventually got lost and consumed by the Minotaur. However, Ariadne gifted Theseus a sword and a ball of yarn to help find the Minotaur to kill him, and navigate his way out of the Labyrinth.
The name Ariadne, produces anagrams that suggest a cinematic short story:
Ariadne / end aria / I and are.
